The late George A. Callitsis (1889-1942) born in London, was the grand father of Andreas A. Callitsis and great grand father of Nassos A.l Callitsis respectively, established in Piraeus a shipping agency and a shipbroking office back in 1905. The company expanded rapidly and involved successfully in ship management. WWII broke and company's fleet was lost as a result of war hostilities.
After the World War II, his son Nassos G. Callitsis (1922-1980) remobilized the office which still today continues operating successfully by the “Callitsis” fourth generation remaining committed to the principles and ethics of the trade.
Hard work, efficiency, honesty, professionalism and integrity has brought the office into a world wide leading position in the trade, being also members of various shipping organizations (as mentioned below).
With a network of offices and sub-agencies in all ports in Greece we are able to meet all vessel's requirements.
